ACTIVITIES
The
changing colors of the Caribbean waters viewed from the balconies will
be enough to capture your attention for days on end. You will
experience the same “vista” poolside and we haven’t even mentioned the
view of Mount Isabella that looms above the villa to the South. When
you are ready to venture out from the villa, be prepared for a
wonderful Caribbean experience. We are walking distance from the
beach and Ocean World, a spectacular marine mammal park where you can
enjoy encounters with the dolphins (and sharks!). There is nearby:
golf, catamaran rides, casinos, waterfall excursions, jeep safari
rides, snorkeling, horseback riding and amber museums. We are also
affiliated with an orphanage for disabled children and can arrange for
you to visit it. The children love to see new faces and just your
smile and a hug brings joy to their lives. If you desire to visit
historical sights, they would be more plentiful in Santiago (less than
an hour away) or in the capitol of Santo Domingo. There are very nice,
air conditioned, inexpensive tour buses that could take you to either.
Driving here is precarious, but if you are adventuresome, car rentals
are available.
